The US manufacturing sector is currently characterised by economic uncertainty and workforce challenges, but on top of this, a significant amount of AI and smart manufacturing is receiving investment and even direct input into production work, and generating an increasing share;
At the same time, the speed of new product innovation, manufacturing and supply chain optimisation are currently hot topics in US manufacturing.
